Dallas Holm
Pioneer, forerunner, legend; God has used Dallas to shape the landscape of today's Christian music.
From inspirational to blues, country to reggae, whatever the style, it all points to Christ and the Cross. Songs like Rise Again, I Saw the Lord, Here We Are, and Before Your Throne remind us that it's all about Jesus.
Throughout his ministry, he has never lost sight of his family's central role in his life.
Dallas and Linda Holm have been married 40 years, have two grown children and grandchildren. |

Matthew Ward
As a member of the '70s 2nd Chapter of Acts, vocalist Matthew Ward helped create the sound that eventually became Contemporary Christian music.
My Redeemer was inspired largely by Matthew's physical experiences as a cancer patient, his follow-up project, Even Now, explored our emotional link with the God of the universe.
Matthew Ward is a study in contrasts. He is intense, yet lighthearted; intellectual, but not pretentious. He loves the outdoors and the activities of the Rocky Mountain region where he lives.
"I don't want people to remember me for my ability to sing, but that I always turned their eyes to Jesus." |

Barry McGuire
For nearly 5 decades Barry McGuire has shared his unique style of folk and gospel music blended with insight and heartwarming stories.
A prolific singer, songwriter, storyteller and truth-seeker; McGuire became a Christian and soon thereafter recorded three of the most memorable early albums of Contemporary Christian Music: Seeds, Lighten Up and a live album with the 2nd Chapter of Acts, To the Bride.
Soon after Sparrow Records was formed, Barry gave birth to several strong records including C'Mon Along and Have You Heard, as well as the famous " Bullfrogs and Butterflies ". |

Michael Card
In a career that spans 25 years, Michael Card has recorded over 20 albums, authored or co-authored over 14 books, hosted two radio programs, and written for a wide range of magazines. While he has penned such favorites as El Shaddai, Emmanuel, Love Crucified Arose, he never imagined selling more than 4 million albums or writing over 19 #1 hits. The popularity of his work seemed a stark contrast to his goal in life, to simply, and quietly teach the Bible.

As Card continued to teach the Bible, a weekly radio program was started and called Joy in the Journey with Michael Card. Today it continues as In the Studio with Michael Card and is broadcast on many radio outlets across the US including Moody Radio stations and affiliates. |

Don and Wendy Francisco
Don Francisco's music has always focused on the forgiveness of a loving God; known worldwide for his ballads of Bible characters who were surprised by God's grace. His best known song, He's Alive, is written from the point of view of Peter just after the crucifixion of Jesus. Too Small A Price is another powerful song written from the thief on the cross who slowly comes to realize that he is being crucified next to the Messiah.
Don is one of the pioneers of contemporary Christian music. He has traveled worldwide and still writes and records in his own "Heart Rock Studios" in Colorado where he resides with his wife, recording artist,
Wendy Francisco - will be joining Don onstage. |
