Purpose of Mega Connect |
The purpose of Mega Connect is to bring together children's pastors and children's ministry leaders from high impact churches to collectively learn how to raise the level of ministry to kids in the local church. We hear from people who know how to lead children's ministry forward. We share ideas. We help solve problems. We make friends who keep in touch.
At Mega Connect participants will have opportunities to:
- Learn from highly successful children's pastors. Every Mega Connect speaker and small group leader has proven experience and recognizable expertise in leading a children's ministry and/or family ministry.
- Connect with leaders in children's ministry on a personal level. People enjoy sitting around and talking on a cruise ship. (That's why we conduct this conference on a cruise.) You will be amazed at the informal opportunities to learn from others.
- Learn what others in children's ministry are doing. You don't need theory. You will be exposed to what is actually working in real churches.
- Reconnect with your own spouse. Bring your spouse! We have great testimonies from husbands and wives who rekindled their relationship at our conference/cruise events.
- Enjoy time with others from the conference. Take a shore excursion with other children's pastors. You're missing out if you haven't heard a bunch of children's pastors singing karaoke on a cruise ship.

PORTS OF CALL
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA
Fort Lauderdale lies along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the New River, 25 miles north of Miami. Its warm tropical weather attracts many people throughout the year. For sun-worshippers, the city has six miles of beaches. There are also many recreational waterways with extensive boating facilities, access to every conceivable watersport, a variety of fascinating museums and trendy restaurants, and an array of entertainment venues. |
|
BELIZE CITY, BELIZE
With miles of lush tropical rain forest, a gorgeous Caribbean coastline and the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, it doesn't take long to realize why Belize City is known as "The Jewel." Located between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize possesses a unique combination of modernity and rustic Caribbean charm. Ancient ruins indicate that Belize was first inhabited by the Mayans in 900 A.D. This Indian heritage, combined with a rich European history, creates a destination full of charm and wonder for all to discover.
|
COZUMEL, MEXICO
The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local
restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulúm, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean. |
KEY WEST, FLORIDA
Ernest Hemingway made wild, colorful Key West his home, and you will want to do the same. Home to modern-day adventurers, artists and poets, the island's charming Old Town teems with restaurants, bars and unique shops. Add pristine coral reefs, coconut palms and a laid-back attitude that's truly contagious, and it's easy to see why so many visitors to Key West never leave. |

"I liked the amount of time we had for fellowship.
Our time wasn't consumed with sessions, however, the sessions brought us together and provided a much needed time of soul searching."
" We really enjoyed the cruise and the Christian fellowship. The teaching was wonderful, inspiring, and exactly what I needed to hear." |
